WHAT IS NEXT?

Now that the season of Lent is over, and we've done our due diligence in remembering and honoring our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his sacrifices for us, how do we leave out of this season and move into the next? This is a question I pondered over as I preached our resurrection service and as our members sat down to break bread together afterwards. My heart started to ring with the word " MORE". I didn't get too alarmed because I have been hearing this word echo lately in my spirit, so I just continued to enjoy our time together.

As we left out of the building that Sunday, the word MORE seemed to become profound and intensified in its sound inside of my heart and my ears, as if the Spirit was releasing an urgent indication that could not be overlook neither avoided. As I continued to sit in meditation with this, I finally realized that this was an announcement through the Holy Spirit from Jesus. His word does declare in John 16: 13 KJV " Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth; for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear (from Jesus), that shall he speak. And he will show you things to come".

Jesus was answering my question stating that "now it is time for MORE". What is this MORE that Jesus wants from his children. He wants more of our devotion, more of our time and attention, more of our sacrifice, more of our love and commitment to the sacred things of God and kind

ness towards one another. Now is not the time to relax as is we only remember the finished work of Jesus Christ during a season. God forbid. No, we remember his life's work daily and daily should we honor him through the way we conduct our lives.

My brothers and my sister now's the time to show our Savior, that it really is in him that live and move and have our being. (Acts 17:28). Can I charge and challenge you to set your heart and soul on giving Jesus MORE. Oh, and need I say, that great is our reward. There are benefits that await us as we surrender ourselves to the things of God. So come on my friends. Let's leave this season with a momentum that pushes into the MORE and eliminates the option to resort back to a normal way of viewing this life that we live in Christ. Are you ready for the MORE? Actions are stronger than words. Let's walk it out. In Jesus Name.
